Changes Start with... THE SPARK "at the heart of the alternative west country"

Team News, August 2012

Intern of the issue! We’ve very much enjoyed working with Steph this issue. Recently graduated from UWE with an English degree, Steph also works for Reading Eggs, an online educational programme for kids, and has been a very personable and efficient member of the team. Over the last three months she’s been researching and writing Ignite for the autumn issue - sure you’ll enjoy it.

Congratulations to Alex Cater, formerly one of our much-respected interns and now one of our freelance writers, who has accepted his first commission from a national - The Guardian no less!

Ann's had a great July, attending a brilliant workshop in E-Mei; an ancient Qi Gong form used for fighting and healing back in 1270 AD and also enjoyed her first ever Druid Camp in Wales. Good stuff.

Following her article on Positive Ageing in the summer issue, Beccy’s now coming to terms with her own empty nest after her son moved out in July. Interesting times!
