All listings ads conform to Spark house style
• it makes the ads easier to read
• it makes ad booking clear and equitable
• it makes ad processing more efficient, and therefore cheaper
Every ad booked online will be checked by a real human being! Any ad that doesn’t conform to house style will be amended so it does
• all ads use the same font
• all ads are in black and white
• contact details go at the bottom of the ad and appear in bold
• we don't use bold or italics anywhere else in the ad
• we never use underlinings, whole words in CAPITALS or coloured text
• we don't put hyperlinks in ads (so your web address will NOT have a clickable link)
• ads are sold by number of words - you don’t get extra space if you use less words
• bullet points follow the text • they don’t automatically get a new line
• your ad will appear as one solid block of text – new lines may not show in your final ad
• your ad may appear slightly differently in the mag and online – depending on space
