Ignite, at the front of The Spark, is our 3 month events section. It starts with 2 or 3 pages of editorial; brightly coloured photos and short text featuring our top picks of what's coming up in Sparkland.
The editorial is followed by our paid-for event ads.
There are 3 kinds of event ads • event ads by-the-word • event boxes • event headers
• 80p per word
• chose from 'regular' or 'one-off' events
• Regular (or 'on-going') events have the DAY of the week in bold at the top. Show me
• One-off event ads have a bold DATE at the top of the ad. Show me
• the day/date is not counted in your wordcount – it's free but MUST be included
• contact details go at the bottom of the ad and appear in bold
• website / email address count as 4 words each (we don't do hyperlinks, sorry)
• no words in CAPITALS, underlined or in italics
• optional disability access code free of charge
• Event boxes are sold by size and designed by you (or us for a small charge)
• Event boxes may contain colour
• Event boxes must have a date we can list them by
• Show me prices and sizes
• £70 for 50 words and your logo/header. Show me
• logo/header can be colour or black & white
• tell us the DAY or DATE so we can order your ad but don't include it in your wordcount
• contact details go at the bottom of the ad and appear in bold

• no other bolds, CAPITALS, underlines or italics
