Intern Juna here again with good news and bad news. First, the bad news: after a learning-intensive ten week work placement, I’m – tears! – leaving the Spark. I leave with new ideas about ethical living, a great couple of pieces for my portfolio and, of course, a full belly from the famous organic office lunches.
Needless to say, this will be my last blog entry (…on this website. I do have a blog elsewhere on the internet, in a confidential location known only to myself and my favourite stuffed koala, Lydia.) and as such, there’s no need to dwell on the negative. Now, for the good news: I’ve been hard at work at the festival guide for issue 69.
In it, you’ll find everything you need to know about what’s on in the festival circuit around the South West this year, including wacky gems like participatory woodcarving, a human library and a balloon firework show. The best part about the guide? I’ve worked my eyeballs to the bone taking down price, date and events details so you don’t have to. Issue 69 comes out in late May for the low, low price of freeeeeeeeeee.
That’s all from me, except to say so long and thanks for the experience.
