Spark Action Needs You!

Calling all activists, campaigners, community groups and trouble-makers across Sparkland - let us know your news so we can spread it across the West Country and beyond!

Here at The Spark we want to provide the best coverage of social change across the region.

But as a quarterly magazine sometimes it's difficult, especially with actions and events called at short notice. That's where the Spark Action Blog (that be this 'ere thing you're reading right now) comes in - we can help publicise things a lot more effectively than waiting up to three months before we can publish anything.

Here's how you can help us help you:

Let us know of local groups, campaigns and contacts around the region so we can continue to keep in touch all year round; if you know of local issues brewing in your neighbourhood, tell us; and if you need help with your project, ask us and we may be able to help.

We're interested in stuff from a wide area, including:

Bath, Stroud, Frome, Taunton, Hereford, Dursley, Bristol, Street, Cheddar, Radstock, Chipping Sodbury, Bridgwater, Wotton, Burnham, Melksham, Ross-on-Wye, Tewkesbury, Cirencester... And anywhere else across the West Country and reaching down to the South West and up to the Midlands!

Think... Green activism, social change, anti-fascism, mutual aid, community values, DIY, getting involved...

So get in touch - email Action@TheSpark.co.uk, tweet me @SparklandChris, or even just add a message to a blog post.

Let's make some positive change, y'all!

Sparkland Chris
