I go to quite a few local festivals in this area. The smaller the better for me, there is more of a family, friendly feel and you get to know more of the people at smaller fests. The very best festival in the universe is Shambala, it has all the magical elements I love about a festival, the people are great, I also love it's ethos and philosophies, it it smallish and has the right ingredients for lots of full-flavoured fun.

I prefer smaller festivals like womad and cropreddy. I enjoy the relaxed family atmosphere and go for the bands and the ambience. The shopping is a treat. as is the wonderful range of diverse food and culture.
