Release your inner goddess and join with others by taking part in celebrating the feminine face of the divine. The Goddess Conference 2010, now in its 15th year, is a weeklong gathering (July 25- August 1) held in Glastonbury, Somerset. Everyone welcome, male or female, who wishes to worship the Goddess through ceremonies, pilgrimage walks, workshops, talks, performances, music, song and dance.
The Goddess Conference was inspired by a need to reconnect with the female spirit, which ancient cultures worshiped all around the world. The Goddess has a particular affinity with Glastonbury as its' hills, when seen from above, are said to resemble the form of a woman lying on her side.
The conference, held in Glastonbury town hall, features presentations from practitioners such as Alessandre Beloni, Barbara Meliklejohn-Free, Deonesea la Fey and many others, who will investigate the sensuality, sexuality and beauty of the female divine and the Goddess. This is preceded by three days of fringe events from July 25– 27 with music, dance and healing workshops, and pilgrimage walks around the town.
